Murano Maintenance and Restoration Specialists

Murano chandeliers are known for their intricate designs, vibrant colors, and exquisite craftsmanship. They are often used as a centerpiece in a room and can add a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space. Murano chandeliers are considered collector’s items because they are unique, rare, and have a rich history.

Murano glass is special because it is a unique and valuable art form that has been around for centuries and is still being produced today. It is known for its beauty, transparency, and ability to incorporate light as a sculptural element.

“Murano chandeliers are a work of art and are

highly valued by collectors and enthusiasts alike.”

Maintenance: Murano's are notoriously difficult or impossible to clean; mostly due to all the inaccessible internal components. We frequently see fixtures that have never been cleaned before; some of these fixtures over 300 years old.  We have proprietary tools & chemicals to tackle this complex task.

Repair / Restoration: Because no two fixtures are alike,  replacement parts are extremely difficult or impossible to acquire.

Most lighting repair shops and insurance companies alike have long deemed these fixtures as “irreparable”. Fortunately, as We have been servicing Murano fixtures for over 35 years, we’ve developed a network of contacts in Venice that can track down the exact parts we need– Or find a Murano glass studio whom can accurately recreate the necessary components for us.

We have successfully brought many antique Murano fixtures completely back to life that have sat in storage presumably irreparable for well over 100 years.

Venini is an Italian glass manufacturer that has been producing high-end glassware since the 1920s using traditional Murano glassblowing techniques; melting glass at high temperatures and shaping it by hand. Venini chandeliers are known for their exquisite craftsmanship and unique designs. Venini chandeliers come in a variety of styles, ranging from classic to modern, and are often adorned with colorful glass pendants and beads.

Maintenance: Venini fixtures are notoriously heavy, difficult to disassemble, and nearly impossible to thoroughly deep clean; mostly due to all the inaccessible internal components. We frequently see fixtures that have never been cleaned before.  We have highly specialized proprietary tools & chemicals to tackle this complex task.  More often than not we will completely disassemble the fixture and rewire/ restore and deep clean it at our fully equipped workshop. We have a large ultraviolet bonding system enabling us to repair thousands of irreplaceable Murano and Venini parts over the years.
